I decided to go that route, been fun so far, though there is a bit of overlap sometimes. I use both, along with Calamity and Spirit now i'm pretty new to the mods myself but i've seen people mix thorium calamity tremor and spirit as the main mods then add some little things for QoL. I like the Dungeons and Dragons feel it has most of the time. But I haven't seen the mod in quite a while since I stopped playing the game for about a month a little while ago. New to Mods, any suggestions on what to play first? Or maybe 2 at the same time tremor less so with the stolen sprites,total unbalance,etc. If I remember correctly, the developers for that mod quit after a while, so there's very little balancing put into it anymore if any at all Thorium vs Calamity vs Tremor : Terraria - reddi As for Tremor, it is pretty much busted in my opinion. Ignore Tremor, it adds a lot of subpar content IMO For example, Calamitas is a Mech leveled boss, but was tougher (in my opinion) than the post Plantera boss from Thorium.
Calamity is the best for a more difficult experience (they have a harder expert mode called revengence mode) I recommend getting both. Thorium is the best for a fresh experience. Tremor breaks most of my worlds and the awful ice biome it creates. Calamity at times feels a bit over the top, good bosses though. Thorium feels like an expanded vanilla, well balanced, lots of item.
